1.    GOD We believe in one living true God, eternal and of infinite power, wisdom, goodness and righteousness.  HE is a loving and faithful God who is the Creator and preserver of all things.  (John 1:3) (Colossians 1:6)

2.    JESUS CHRIST We believe in the absolute divine nature of Jesus Christ, God’s only son, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin named Mary.  Jesus was and is both fully man and fully God.  His purpose was to restore our relationship back to God, the Father, which was broken by sin.  Jesus Christ was crucified on a cross and rose from the dead and ascended into heaven in full victory over the world and death.  (Matthew 1:23) (Acts 2:14-36)

3.    THE HOLY SPIRIT We believe in the Holy Spirit as the power and expression of the Trinity who lives within us.  Giving us the power to live a holy life and guiding us to truth.  His presence is what makes this life unique.  His absence is also what makes church boring and lifeless.  Jesus said I must leave, but I will send you the Helper, Comforter, and Counselor, to teach you all truths.  (John 16:7) (John 14:16) (Acts 19:2-3)

4.    THE AUTHORITY of SCRIPTURE We believe that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament combined constitute the Holy Bible; no books may be added to it or deleted from it.  The Holy Bible is inspired from the Holy Spirit and is the undeniable Word of God.  (John 1:1) (Hebrews 4:12) (2 Timothy 3:16)

5.    SALVATION Because people simply cannot save themselves from the snares and sins of this world, everyone needs a savior.  We believe that this is altogether the work of God and God alone.  Neither good works nor self-improvement can save a person from sin.  Salvation is a gift from God the Father, through Jesus Christ the Son, activated by the Holy Spirit.  This gift is simply received by asking Jesus into your heart for forgiveness and faith in Jesus Christ, who died in our place for our sins.  (Acts 4:12) (Romans 10:9)

6.    GIFTS of THE SPIRIT We believe the Bible to be very clear as it pertains to the Gifts of the Spirit and the way those gifts operate in today’s church.  We believe that the Gifts are available and should operate not only in a church setting but also in our personal lives on a daily basis.  We believe the Holy Spirit has given spiritual gifts to all those who believe and are committed to Jesus Christ for the purpose of building and exhorting the body of Christ (church) for the glory of God.  The gifts are to be done in love and unity.  (1 Corinthians 12:1-17)
